Genuine Dorset sea glass carefully hand wrapped in copper wire and finished with wooden beads.
I collected this sea glass while beachcombing at Lyme Regis, UK, before wrapping it with antique-coloured copper wire.
This lightly frosted piece of clear seaglass has an unusual round shape with central raised circle. This was likely once part of an antique glass bottle stopper which has been worn by the sea into its present shape!
As well as recent flotsam, the cliffs and landslides at Lyme Regis contain deposits from between the 19th century and the 1970s, which erode down onto the beach. This means that fragments found there could be anywhere from a few months to several hundred years old!
